Exotic Impressions Body Piercing

I’ve been to this location for piercings twice before and had pleasant enough experiences. The piercers always have great attitudes and walk you through aftercare in detail. I was extremely disappointed when I came in with a friend this afternoon to buy new jewelry and had to listen to the two girls behind the counter talking poorly about my friend & how disgusting customers are as she went in to the bathroom to swap out jewelry. They discussed how the policy is to not allow customers to change their jewelry in store (which is completely valid & understandable), however they did not ask her not to do this or state it was their policy. Instead they decided to wait until she was in the bathroom to talk about her as I stood 2 feet away. Very disappointed and will not be back.

Wonderful experience started from the moment I walked in. Everyone was so helpful going through the steps of filling out information, to picking jewelry, and then paying. Carolyn was amazing, talked to me through the process to help me relax. Two small pokes and we were done! she was amazing, and will definitely be back! Thanks again to everyone there, amazing people! :)

Kim Walker at the Park Circle (E. Montague) location is clearly going through something. She was so- and I repeat- so- disgusting and rude to me that she completely ruined my first time piercing experience. I was getting a nose piercing on my 40th birthday as a treat to myself, but she made it clear from the minute I walked in the door that she was upset and didn't want to serve me. She was rude to me about the paperwork being filled on the front and the back, which I let slide. But at piercing time she behaved as if she was irritable, moved fast and was robotic with minimal conversation. I politely asked her to adjust the piercing spot she had drawn on my nose which she did ever so slightly because she was said it wouldn't heal if she did it any closer to the bridge. Once she was done I asked about aftercare for my piercing and she motioned to the paper on the table and rudely said "you need to use Saline twice a day". I asked for how long, and she glared at me cattily and said "for the rest of your life" and turned around. I don't know what kind of piercer speaks to customers in this way but I should have probably turned around after she muttered to her trainee after I walked in that "this is why I did not want to be signed up on a Sunday" since it got a little busy around closing (my appointment was the last one at 5:15pm). Someone may want to relieve her of her duties of working at this shop since it was evident by her behavior, tone and incredibly nasty attitude that she does not want to be there working at all. Kim Walker really should NOT be given the precious privilege of piercing anyone's body whatsoever, and I will always remember and hate that she was the person that was there to give me mine on my 40th birthday.

My new go-to piercing parlor since I moved to the area. First time I came in, it was for a jewlery change that was quick and easy. This time I had an appt for Angel to do a double tragus for me. She was so friendly, professional and knowledgable. She gave me suggestions for what would be best for my piercing so I could tell she was an expert, cared for me and believed in her work. She made sure I was comfy the whole way and that I liked everything before she continued. And of course they have their policy to come in if anything at all goes wrong for some help free of charge, so I know they stand by their work. It was clean, easy, and overall a wonderful experience. I would recommend anyone in the area go here for a piercing. Even if it's your first one, you will be treated well, especially by Angel. I will probably request her every time I can!
